This Privacy Policy explains how TasksMap (the "Application"), provided by Katsuya Takemura (the "Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information.
The Application is designed as a freemium mobile application for location-based task reminders. It stores place, task, notification history, and settings data primarily on your device and does not send that data to servers independently operated by us.
The Application uses device location information to save places, detect when you arrive at or leave saved places, and send task-related local notifications.
Location information may include your current location, the latitude and longitude of places you save, the notification radius for each place, geofence state, and arrival or departure timestamps. If you grant background location permission, the Application may use location information while the Application is not open in order to detect arrivals and departures from saved places.
Precise location information may be considered sensitive personal information in some jurisdictions.
The Application stores information that you enter or create in the Application, including place names, task names, task completion status, creation dates, completion dates, departure detection times, notification history, selected place, notification radius, subscription plan state, and other app settings.
The Application uses RevenueCat, Inc. to provide paid features, check subscription status, restore purchases, and manage subscriptions. RevenueCat and the applicable app store provider may process information related to your purchase or subscription status, such as app-specific customer identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, transaction information, and store account-related purchase records.
The Application does not directly process payments and does not store payment card details.
If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and the contents of your message in order to respond to your request.
Location information, place information, task information, notification history, and app settings are primarily stored locally on your device.
The Application does not send this information to servers independently operated by us. However, information required to process, verify, restore, or manage purchases and subscriptions may be processed by RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, or other applicable app store providers.
