It was an educative and interesting session which featured a couple of âweb3 and non-web3 personsâ in attendance.
We started out a little behind time due to some technical hitch we encountered while setting up the projector however, we just had to proceed a few minutes after, in order not to get the participants wearied from waiting.
Went on to do a short audio poll which revealed that a few of the participants were pretty unfamiliar with the concept of decentralization which made me begin the session by breaking down the concept of decentralization as well as an intro to the evolution of the internet from Web 1.0 to Web 3.0, which focuses at decentralization and distribution of data in a peer-to-peer manner.
Most of the discussion was centered around the benefits which talent protocol offers its users and perks of becoming a talent on the platform. Some of which were highlighted as:
In summary, the participants were elated and very much eager to learn.
The meetup spanned about an hour and most of the participants signed up on the platform, (talentprotocol.com) during the meetup. Unfortunately, it skipped my memory to have them sign up via my referral linkđ
Also, I spoke a bit about Talent Protocolâs partnership with some of the top-class brands in web3 such as Celo, Polygon, Utrust Labs, Kernel and others.
And lastly, we stepped out of the venue to have a cool group photo session.
A few of the pictures that were taken are featured on the next set of pages.
Overall, we had a great time together and I was glad to host the meetup.
Hoping to sustain it and see you on the next one,
