• I think there are some major improvements we can implement alongside the unified tagging system update to improve the user experience and make things easier for the maintainers.

1. Create a “$AK_Other” tag for misc stuff

• $AK_Other::!Delete(Duplicate)

• $AK_Other::!Potential_Duplicate

• $AK_Other::Note_Features::

  • 1_by_1

  • Algorithm

  • ECG

  • Images

    • AnKing_Images
    • Needs_Replacement

  • Mnemonic

  • Table

    

• $AK_Other::New_Cards::2023::UWorld

• $AK_Other::Original_Decks

• Ultimately all this should be in the “other” other section to clean things up for users.

2. Clean up step 1-3

• “!shelf” for each rotation will be moved under “Rotation” (e.g., #AK_Step2_v12::Rotation::IM::!Shelf)

  • Tags in pink to be removed

    

• Clean up the rotation section

  • Make a “tests” section (e.g., #AK_Step2_v12::Tests::NBME11) Do this for step 1 also

  • Remove unneeded tags (need help here to understand what people use)

    • The initial idea of what to remove in pink. Yellow will be moved. This is just an example the would be carried over to other rotations that are collapsed in this image. Note UW tags have their own section.

      

  • Add an emergency medicine tag…

• Move all sketchy resources under 1 sketchy tag (e.g., #AK_Step2_v12::Sketchy::Neurology)

• Move high-yield tags directly under steps 1 and 2 (e.g., #AK_Step1_v12::!Yield::High)
