Root Cause Tags
- Definition: Tags at this level should represent the fundamental vulnerability or root cause of the issue. These issues are broad categories related to the security or functionality of the system.
- Examples: DAO, DoS, Logic Error, Reentrancy, Access Control.
Subtags
- Definition: Subtags provide detailed classifications or specific instances of the root cause described by the main tag. They offer more granularity and context to the type of issue encountered.
- Examples: Violating CEI / Missing nonReentrant, Invariant Violation, Invalid Slippage Control, Missing deadline.
When proposing new tags, clearly distinguish between root cause tags and subtags, and ensure that each tag's definition.
