- We do not access or transmit any website content unrelated to the extensionβs core functionality.
πΎ What the Extension Does Locally
To deliver its core features, the extension performs the following actions locally on your device:
- Controls tab audio:
- Detects and adjusts
<audio>
and <video>
elements in the current browser tab.
- Enables play/pause and mute/unmute controls per tab.
- Auto-mute logic:
- Optionally detects known video conferencing tabs (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) to auto-mute background tabs if enabled by the user.
- Stores preferences:
- Saves settings like per-tab volume level and mute status using
chrome.storage.local
.
- These settings are stored only on your device and are never synced or transmitted elsewhere.
