It’s almost like every website on the Internet is a “TV channel” these days...

I can’t help but wonder what the grand vision is for all these TV apps - there was a point while I was helping my dad cut the cable that I felt like i had too many TV apps and did what I feel a chunk of the world does - just stick to Netflix and YouTube and delete all my other apps!

My dad ended up on Locast (fascinating effort taking advantage of legal loopholes to keep antenna TV free “legally” yet asking for “donations” to a non-profit that I basically write off as my dad paying a $5/month “subscription” - how they win over the judge in court means this money must all go toward a really good lawyer!)

My mom cut the cord using YouTube, I was surprised she chose TubiTV as the next app (of all apps) to explore! i would have thought after 10 years of YouTube, you’d want Netflix - but I guess not!

I do find it interesting how Apple is trying to position themselves to be a hub to other networks (limited success if you ask me the last I tried using it)
