I. INSTALLATION

• Go to https://derivative.ca
• As we are college students — download the NON-COMMERCIAL version
• Install & launch the program

Lets walk through the basics of the layout:

• Network Editor – your main workspace
• Pane Bar – where you navigate between different views
• Parameters Window – change properties of selected nodes
• Timeline – bottom of the screen (play/pause/loop controls)
• Palette Browser – pre-made tools & modules (super helpful)
