Core concept:

In this comp, T-Hex is designed to consume a 3★ Caitlyn. If you obtain a second T-Hex setup and spare T-Hex items, Orianna can also be consumed as a secondary option. T-Hex consumes(eats?) Caitlyn (and optionally Orianna) because its passive grants 12 mana regen when consuming a 3★ caster. Caitlyn is cheaper and can be a pre–T-Hex item holder, while Orianna is only considered when Prismatic Ticket or surplus economy allows a second T-Hex.

Stratigies Understanding of the Comp

At its core, this composition revolves around two extremely important benchmarks.

First, a strong T-Hex game is defined by unlocking T-Hex on Stage 4-1 while staying at or above 40 HP, under 40 is not such safe from our past match history experience, even though I went win streak with 17 HP once (and from a CN pro player he went win streak with 14 HP).

Unlock T-Hex on 4-1, and are still healthy, the game is already in a very favorable state.

Second, once you find a 2★ T-Hex, your chances of winning the lobby increase dramatically.

In most standard lobbies, hitting a 2-star T-Hex is enough to fully stabilize, convert into a long win streak, and play for first place rather than just top four.

Because of this, the early and mid game are not about forcing damage or rushing levels. They are about economy management, controlled rolling slowly, allowing these conditions to be met as consistently as possible. If you haven’t tried it yet, this comp might look fragile on stage 4 and early stage 5 with only T-hex 1 and Cait 3, but its real strength lies in how efficiently a 1★ T-Hex + 3★ caster can stabilize when paired with correct Piltover modules and a strong frontline.
