This section will summarise and provide the main conclusions of this chapter. In addition, an overview will be provided for the rest of the position paper.
The key insight reached is that the “systemic nature” could be regarded as the process of inquiry into the world, where the inquiry process itself is treated as a system. This shifts the perspective on how the system is viewed, the system is viewed as a representation of reality rather than something that exists objectively in the world. This perspective is embodied within soft systems methodology and demonstrated in figure

The process of inquiry or learning, could be used to develop theories which could inform action in my management practice. The “systemicness” could be looked at from various contexts including my personal life and work life.
