Sync your subtitle with the audio accurately using the sound editor.

When do I use the sound editor?

In some cases, the Word Clip and auto generated captions may not capture the spoken word(s) accurately. Hence, the subtitle(s) may appear earlier than the spoken word OR stay longer than the spoken word(s).

How do I use the sound editor?

In the example below, the sentences being uttered are: “Hello, Shawny boy.” “You are looking fine today!” Here, there are 2 sentences with a silent pause.

To improve on this:

  1. Drag “boy” to the exact point the sound stops so that the subtitle timing is accurate.

  2. There is a silent pause, so we drag the scissors and cut it. In this portion, there is no subtitle appearing in the video.

  3. “The second sentence, “You are looking fine today!”, will appear at the right time.
