What is the Slide Design DeCal?

Slide Design DeCal (SDD) is a 1-unit, student-run course at the University of California, Berkeley that will teach students how to build visually compelling, clear, and beautiful presentations for all sorts of contexts and use cases.

There are no prerequisites — we just ask that you have access to the Google Drive suite, as most of our lectures and homework will be done through there.

Dates and order of topics are subject to change.

Most homework assignments will be given to present on a certain topic (cooking, technology, places to travel, etc). Students will have the choice to choose which topic they are presenting on. For each week, there will be constraints to practice various fundamental design principles learned in the classroom.
