Hostname: AKWAA-SW
Troubleshooting Checklist
Layer 1: Physical & Cable Checks

Layer 2: Interface & VLAN Status
-
[ ] Check interface status: Ports should be “connected” or “up.”
-
[ ] Check VLAN assignments:
-
[ ] Verify trunking: Uplink should allow VLANs 10 and 99, with correct native VLAN.
-
[ ] Check SVI status: Should be “up/up.”
- If down, ensure at least one port in VLAN 99 is up.
Layer 3: Management & Connectivity
- [ ] Ping the switch’s management IP from the Core Router or a VLAN 99 device.
- [ ] Check ARP table to confirm Layer 3 reachability.
