Overview of the feature

Add additional fields on the wine details page to indicate different size offerings and prices, for different beverages besides wines, offered by restaurants.

• Currently: we support wines, and just the bottle price and size.
• Proposed: We make available several fields in which the user can provide the different size and corresponding price
  • Bottle (750 ml, 500 ml, etc.), Carafe, Glass, Other
  • Corresponding Price for the container type/size
  • Specify type of alcoholic beverage (wine, beer, spirits)

Business motivation

As we expand to serve other enterprises, like restaurants and retail stores, we need to support how wines are sold — different sizes and different price points.

User stories / Jobs To Be Done

• As a restaurant owner or general manager, I want to enter different prices for wines on the PairAnything Enterprise Portal, so that they match what are listed on our wine list.
• When diners get pairing recommendations from PairAnything, I want to show the two price options (bottle, glass) for wines we carry, so that they can select which is best for their dining enjoyment.

Acceptance criteria

Specify the requirement(s) by which the user story can be accepted as completed correctly and meet the user need. List the goal and metrics to judge its success.

• Goal: Price transparency for wines available
• Metric: Diners are clear on the price options for recommended wines
