Over two years, artist Elise Swopes captured and edited sunrise photos of Chicago using only her mobile phone. Through her innovative use of mobile photography techniques, she created stunning images that capture the vibrancy and beauty of this iconic city. With an endless array of colors, textures, and shapes showcased in each photo, these sunrise photos offer a unique glimpse into the essence of Chicago. Whether highlighting the dramatic skyline at sunrise or capturing the gentle ripples of Lake Michigan as the sun rises from behind it, Elise's images are a true testament to her talent and passion for mobile photography.

Sunrises are a timeless and classic subject, combining nature's beauty with light's drama. But what sets sunrise photos apart is their collectible quality. Unlike a meadow photo, sunrise photos are unique and instantly recognizable, making them one-of-a-kind pieces everyone wants to own. Whether you're planning on displaying them in your home or reselling them online, sunrise photos have all the makings of an excellent collectible, making them perfect for anyone who loves taking photos or collecting beautiful images from around the world.

Sunrise photos are undoubtedly the best type of art to collect. This is due, in large part, to the remarkable way in which the rising sun illuminates these images. The soft hues and subtle gradient effects are truly breathtaking, making sunrise photos an art form in their own right.

Clouds are given their official classification based on an International Cloud Atlas by the World Meteorological Organization. Finally, silhouette and coverage are determined numerically according to minuscule differences between buildings and levels of fog in the image.
