Asimov Collective is a small group of designers and developers. We collaborate with partners who are working on the cutting edge of technological development. We are currently looking for design interns to join our design team for 10 weeks.
As a design intern you will create work for editorial / brand / print projects under the direction of a Creative Director. Your work will principally include, but is not limited to, designing layouts and graphics for books, developing art direction with our team, and learning about the overall process of client relationship management with the founders. You will also attend meetings with the project team and clients periodically.
You are not required to be in Brooklyn, NY where AC operates. You can be remote, however we prefer that your time zone remains in Eastern Time.
Our team believes in a truly hands on development process for our internships, and want the designer to feel they have control and a stake within the project.
Required proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Ability to work and plan both independently and as a collaborator.
Previous internship experience preferred, but not required.
Finished Year 1 of design school (preferably in Graphic Design, Print/Editorial).
