In this creation, I wanted to bring tech's concept of innovation to the art world. Innovation in tech means adding more utility to what is already out there. In this piece, I added another utility to one-time used plastic wraps to evolve into an art piece.

This is the finished product.

A suikerspin is the dutch term for cotton candies; it is a simple thing that makes us smile when we were kids. I chose the colors of suikerspin to represent our childhood memories and how we find happiness in simple things.

Now, we have technological advancement and did it make us happy? No, we have a lot more expectations from everyone, life, and the world. This makes everything more complicated and leads to more disappointments. Life is a big irony; there will come a point where everyone will realize that life is always about the simple, joyous moment that makes everything worthwhile. When that moment comes, will it be too late?
