Creative abilities are involved in formulating ideas that are at the same time novel and compelling. Analytical abilities are involved in ascertaining whether the ideas are good ones. Practical abilities are involved in presenting the ideas in an engaging and persuasive way. Wisdom- based abilities are used to try to ensure that the theory presented can help serve a common good, whether to scientists or educators or the public at large. Many if not most of the tasks we encounter in life involve some combination of analytical, creative, and practical skills, and many tasks, at least those involving people, draw on wisdom-based skills as well.
