1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy is a legal agreement between you ("you", "your", or "user") and Vlad Volkov, a sole proprietorship based in Lithuania (referred to as "I", "me", or "my").

This Policy applies to Sublab, my iOS volume booster, equalizer, and bass enhancer app (the "Service" or "App"). It explains how I collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you access or use the App.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how I handle your personal information.

2. Information I Collect and How

Sublab is designed to minimize data collection. I do not require an account, do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA), do not collect your IP address, do not collect precise location, and do not run third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. The categories of data I may collect are limited to the following:

Music Library Access

When you tap "Add Track" and choose to import from your Apple Music library, iOS asks for your explicit permission via a standard system prompt. I access only the specific tracks you select, solely to apply audio processing (volume boost, equalization, bass enhancement) locally on your device. I do not upload your music, scan your library beyond what you pick, or transmit your audio files anywhere. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Sublab → Media & Apple Music.

In-App Purchase and Subscription Data

When you purchase a Sublab subscription, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store. My subscription provider, Adapty, processes the purchase receipt and your current subscription status on my behalf so the App knows whether to unlock Pro features. Adapty receives an anonymous identifier generated for the purchase but is not provided with your Apple ID, email, IDFA, or IP address (these are explicitly disabled in my Adapty configuration).

Diagnostic Data

If you have iOS analytics sharing enabled (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share aggregated crash and performance data with developers. This data is anonymized by Apple and contains no information that personally identifies you. I do not collect crash logs through any third-party SDK.
