The Company
Songbird Therapy (songbirdcare.com) is a modern and technology-enabled provider of in-home autism care. We're a team of clinicians, technologists, and designers building a new model for home-based autism care.
- Founders are ex-Facebook and ex-Lyft product managers, with product experience at Oculus, Instacart, Google, and previous startups.
- We're joined by a team of leading clinicians from UPenn, Stanford, and University of Houston. Both founders are committed to sharing knowledge and have strong contacts in the industry for future referrals.
- Our advisors include investors from Tier-1 venture firms and founders from some of the most successful digital health companies of the last decade.
What you'll do
-
We're looking for a Product Strategy & Ops intern (part-time or full-time). You'll work alongside the founders to drive projects across operations, business, and strategy.
-
Above all, you'll move fast to support the most vulnerable families during a time of crisis—with early intervention that will affect a child over the course of their entire life.
Some projects:
- Growth strategy — Brainstorm and execute on thoughtful ideas to help us move faster and deliver early intervention that's sorely needed.
- Recruiting operations — Flex your interpersonal and decision-making skills by helping manage and scale a recruiting pipeline.
- Outreach & client services — Help grow our playbook for onboarding new families to early intervention.
- Healthcare market research — Help us research the pediatric therapy market and analyze which geographies we should focus on.
- Content marketing — Help write blog posts, manage a Slack community, and support families in need.
This might be for you if:
- Drive - You ****like to move fast and take initiative. When roadblocks appear, you find workarounds. You prefer getting it done vs. doing it just right.
- Startups - You're passionate about startups, technology, and creating something new. You may want to start your own company (or have done so already).
- Execution - You enjoy knocking off items from your todo list. You believe speed is one of your great strengths.
- Experience - You have some work experience in startups, business, or operations in the past. Plus if you've started a company before.
- Passion - You're passionate about mental health and supporting children in-need—and you want to do whatever it takes to help.
