Stephanie joined us as a marketing intern in the Autumn of 2019. She expressed a strong desire to go into content writing so we worked with her to shift her internship to focus on blog content. This gives her real-world content to research and write and ensures she'll have a demonstrable portfolio when entering the job market. Despite being based in London, Stephanie fit well into the team in no time!
Collaborative, fun, supportive
The best part about interning here was the amount of support I received. From day one, I was given onboarding sessions from various members of the team even though I was not involved in their particular division, which allowed me to gain a better understanding of the business as the whole and feel more included in the work going on. Everyone is also extremely friendly and easy to reach online, so if I had any questions, I could message people quickly to get the help I needed.
I'm interested in pursuing a career in writing, and Zetl were kind enough to tailor the marketing internship to fit my needs by allowing me to write content for our Medium blog, which will undoubtedly help with my portfolio.
When I started my internship, I didn't expect the free reign I would have over the work I was doing. I thought that I would be just writing on topics that are given to me, but instead, I'm given opportunities to choose what to write about and discuss my ideas in a team meeting, which really fosters a collaborative environment and makes it feel I can make decisions on my own.
Definitely someone who enjoys being challenged! Your work can make an impact on the way the business runs, and while you'll be given a lot of support, you'll have chances to make your own decisions, which will be a great learning experience.
