The customer journey describes the path or the individual steps that a potential customer goes through before deciding to make a purchase.

The customer journey refers to all points of contact between a prospective customer and a brand, product or service.

This includes not only the direct interactions between customers and companies (ad, commercial, website, etc.), but also the indirect points of contact where the opinions of third parties about a brand, product or service are obtained (rating portals, user forum, blog, etc.).

A deep understanding of the entire customer journey (including direct and indirect contact points) is a basic prerequisite for customer-oriented marketing and successful sales.

🚨 ASIDTAUES instead of AIDA?

Aida - what is Aida? AIDA is a mnemonic for the four stages of the sales process.

◾️ Attention

◾️ Interest

◾️ Desire (Desire)

◾️ Action (plot)

Whether it's school, training, college, or an online course, everyone has heard or used it.

But did you know that AIDA dates back to 1898? Even though the basic framework may be correct, it is wrong to transfer the marketing principles from 1898 to 2021. The chances are that something has changed in the last 122 years.
