cairo-rs is a Rust implementation of the Cairo VM. Cairo (CPU Algebraic Intermediate Representation) is a programming language for writing provable programs, where one party can prove to another that a certain computation was executed correctly. Cairo and similar proof systems can be used to provide scalability to blockchains.

<aside> ✨ The Starknet Foundation has established a method to incentivise builders by collecting a fee from all financial transactions within their ecosystem and allocating it to developers that build public goods. However, while it is simple to transfer money to Smart Contract Developers, it is more difficult to do so properly to open-source Developers.
If a fair means to share the money cannot be established, the system will finance mercenaries rather than mega chad builders, and will thus collapse. Our objective is to develop a fair distribution system in order to make this remarkable endeavor a success.
