Starfish can go either left or right depending on what is choreographed, for the sake of these instructions I will be writing them as if I was going right, like how I was in the video.

  1. Starting thumbs down, you will be doing a front row on the floor. Push your flag so that it is pointing down and your right leg will move apart from your left leg at about 45 degrees apart. Make sure your feet are pointed and your legs stay as straight as possible.
  2. Flag completes it’s turn up and your left hand stops it, and your left leg comes together to meet your right leg
  3. As you push the flag back the other way, your right leg will come out again, about 45 degrees.
  4. Flag returns to ready position and your left leg meets your right leg. This move shifts your body 90 degrees total.

If you are moving to the left, your left leg moves first and your right leg follows.
