Step 1a Issues – F1 / Settings / Connectivity Not Visible

1. F1 key not opening Help menu

Cause: Function keys disabled / Fn lock issue / keyboard mapping

Fix:

• Try Alt + F1
• Ensure Tally is the active window
• Check if your Fn key is ON/OFF
• Test F1 in another program to verify keyboard

2. Gateway of Tally not visible

Cause: Tally not fully opened, company auto-loaded

Fix:

• Press Ctrl + W to go to Gateway
• Close Tally and reopen
• Ensure you're not inside a company screen

3. Settings option not visible

Cause: Outdated version of Tally
