Scope of Role and Experience

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:

• Build and own the entire backend for highly scalable applications handling billions of messages per month.
• Drive significant technical impact in a fast-paced, 0 → 1 startup environment.
• Iterate quickly and ship to production daily while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality.
• Work closely with a small, elite team to push the boundaries of SMS and AI-driven workflows.
• Solve complex distributed systems and scale problems that directly affect a massive global customer base.

You have:

• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience (or 3+ years with exceptional career velocity and outsized impact).
• Deep proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
