What's The Point?

Love is the core of the entire existence. Love is omniscient and permeating everything, like God. Love is God. Divinity is present everywhere. In all our relationships and dealings there are only two perspectives, either there is love or there is indifference. When there is indifference, no anger, no hatred, no fear. A distorted form of love is anger, hatred, fear, and other emotions. We see all these happening in life. Love becomes distorted because of a lack of knowledge. Knowledge helps love to flower, and love, in turn, brings complete knowledge. #love #knowlege #God #wednesdaywisdom

Question & Answers with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

All these negative emotions are distortions of love. They are off-springs of love. If there is no love, there can’t be jealousy. If there is jealousy that means there is love.

Arrogance is too much love for oneself. Jealousy is too much love for another person. Anger is too much love for another person or object. Greed is too much love for objects.

Anger is love for one‘s own concepts and perception. An angry person will think, ‘I perceive things to be like this’, and if they are not like that, then he gets angry.

So, almost every negative emotion is a distortion of love.

Love is the mother of all negative emotions
