Context

Sprout is built for India’s unorganized sector. Unlike major e-commerce platforms, Sprout removes the barrier of mandatory GST registration and complex operational requirements. It empowers micro entrepreneurs, home based businesses, and traditional craftsmen to sell online with frictionless digital experience.

Problem Statement

Millions of business owners and traditional craftspeople in India are excluded from the digital e-commerce economy due to complex regulatory barriers and the lack of formal business documentation.

Setting up a digital storefront requires typing a lot of data into long, complicated forms. This creates a massive drop off point, blocking users who are great at their craft but struggle with digital tools.

Key User Pain Points

• Paperwork: Feeling blocked and closing the app when asked for GST, PAN, or business registration numbers.
• Typing fatigue: Struggling to type long, professional product descriptions on a small phone screen.
• Tech fear: Giving up on complex apps that have too many menus, settings, and steps.

Crafted Solution

Sprout Auto-Pilot. I replaced the traditional, complex onboarding flow with an AI driven process. To lower the barrier to entry, the platform removes mandatory business documentation. To solve the UI friction, Users just scan their ID to automatically fill in their details, and talk into their phone to write their shop's story.
