This doc will have everything you need to know about building your local parking map using the SpotAngels Map Editor

Introduction

The SpotAngels maps are editable by all Angels - members of the community.

• If you already have an account inside the SpotAngels app, please use the same email address used in the app to log in with your account.
• If you don’t have an account, simply create one.

On top of this, we built a special program for community members who want to be involved more heavily in building the maps - we called it the SpotAngels Map Maker Program.

• Map Makers have the ability to make edits without having all their contributions checked.
• They also have the ability to validate map edits made by fellow Map Makers and Angels

SpotAngels Map Editor

The Map Editor is the tool we use to build the local parking maps.

The features include

• Adding a street spot
• Adding a garage
• Editing street spots and garages
• Viewing street imagery
• Viewing Satellite imagery
• Adding a geojson - useful if you want to use existing open data to help you build the map
