The Big Orange Heart Foundation has a mission to support and promote positive wellbeing and mental health within remote working communities.
As a registered US non-profit, to deliver on this mission, we need the support and generosity of both the general public making donations and the business sector we work within via sponsorship and corporate gifts. We’ve worked closely with partners and listened to how we can better support both employees and freelancers. Through 2022 we plan to scale up an initiative that has been running as a pilot – Life Groups.
Life Groups offer scalable wellbeing and mental health support to remote workers for free. We’re opening this Call for Sponsors to help enable the building of a network of trained Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) and accessible infrastructure for the delivery and management of this platform.
We’re offering eight Global Sponsorship Packages to forward-thinking businesses. These packages are built around a percentage of tax-deductible donation and purchased advertising. Making this opportunity efficient and high in value.
Your annual support of the Big Orange Heart Foundation will start January 1, 2022, and run for a full twelve months. Your brand will feature across everything delivered by the foundation – including a top-tier package across twenty events delivered throughout the year. These events consist of both physical and virtual and include two WordFest Live festivals.
As a top-tier sponsor of WordFest Live — taking place March 4 and September 9, 2022 — you will receive all the benefits you’ve come to expect from a world-class, international WordPress focused conference, twice!
But we don’t stop there… you’ll also feature as across monthly physical (in-person) events – nine a year, plus nine additional virtual events held monthly. And to top it off, your brand will feature across the various Big Orange Heart websites as a supporter of positive mental health initiatives.
Our operating costs for 2022 are forecast at $258,400 USD. Our goal is to raise enough to cover these costs, through a combination of sources. The following is a breakdown of how we are working towards this goal:
