Thank you for using Spendex (the "App," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. Please read it carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

• Third-party sign-in data: When you sign in with Apple ID or Google, we receive the basic information you authorize (such as email and display name). We do not receive your password.
• Profile data: Optional information you provide, including nickname, avatar, gender, currency, time zone, and preferred language.

1.2 Financial Data You Enter

• Transaction records (amount, category, note, date, payment method, tags)
• Custom ledger cards and shared ledgers
• Budgets, savings goals, recurring transaction rules
• Check-in records

This data is the core content you create with the App and is stored under your account.

1.3 Device Permissions (only when you grant them)

• Location: Used only when you actively choose to attach a location to a transaction. You can revoke this permission anytime in your system settings.
• Camera: Used only when you choose to scan a receipt. Captured images are processed for transaction recognition; we do not retain them unless you save them yourself.
• Microphone & Speech Recognition: Used only when you choose voice entry. Audio is converted to text and the original recording is discarded.
• Notifications: Used to deliver budget alerts and the daily / weekly / monthly reports you have enabled. You can disable notifications anytime in your system settings.
