The Archive grows as Quill learns. The following species have been observed but not yet fully documented. Check back - the crystals are always turning up something new.
Frogs & Toads - Potion Marsh residents, found near mushroom circles and still water
Owls - Crystal Forest guardians, nocturnal, known for unsettling wisdom
Bunnies - Crystal Forest dwellers, faster than they look, prone to hoarding small gems
Foxes - Non-celestial forest foxes, not to be confused with Startails (they get offended)
Deer - Antlered familiars with crystal formations growing from their racks
Sea Critters - Axolotls, jellyfish, and other tidal cave dwellers - difficult to document due to Quill's feelings about water
Dinos - Ancient Valley residents, some of the oldest familiar species recorded. Names and classifications pending.
Pigs - Amber Fields familiars, rounder and more magical than they have any right to be
Dragons - Multiple types documented: western, eastern, fairy, and an unusually round variety that defies classification
Phoenix / Legendary Birds - Extremely rare, extremely dramatic. Quill has singed fur from the last observation attempt.
Bats - Twilight familiars, often found upside down in crystal caves
Horses - Seen galloping through mana-rich meadows, manes crystallized
Dogs - The most enthusiastic familiars. Bonding is immediate and aggressive (in the affectionate sense).
Wolves - Pack familiars, crystal-bonded in groups. Solitary.Correction: Never actually solitary. Quill apologizes to wolves everywhere.
