Oarus Masthew, a half-orc scout, was declared speaker after a close and contentious election.

Born to half-orc adventurers, he was adopted by Shaelen Masthew, the former speaker of the town of Termalaine, who decided to retire from her leadership role but still resides in the town.

Oarus is an intelligent and witty individual, but unfortunately his political enemies in the town view him as a half-breed bastard, and not as a legitimate leader, causing him to lack the full support of the town militia. He has been striving to prove himself to the people of the town, and to gain their trust and approval as the leader of Termalaine.
