Sample tasks
- Identifying potential sources we can recruit speakers from. For example, you might come up with lists of podcasts that interview experts who could be good speakers.
- Setting up research projects through Upwork. Once you’ve identified potential sources for speakers, you’ll set up projects and select freelancers through Upwork (a freelancer platform) who can help us research prospective speakers. You’ll have multiple research projects running in parallel and will need to keep track of the status of each and ensure they’re completed on time and in a high-quality fashion.
- Reviewing and prioritizing speakers. You’ll prioritize speakers for outreach based on our established criteria.
- Helping with speaker outreach. You’ll upload information about prospective speakers to our customer relationship management (CRM) software and send template outreach notes to select speakers.

- You’ve worked as a project coordinator (or in a related role) on complex projects with many moving parts.
- Former coworkers would say you’re extremely reliable, organized, and detailed-oriented.
- You’re a clear communicator with particularly strong writing skills.
