Overview

Speak is a voice typing keyboard for iPhone that transcribes speech to text entirely on your device. Your privacy is fundamental to how this app is built.

Data Collection

Speak does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• Audio data is processed entirely on your device using the Whisper speech recognition model. No audio is ever sent to any server.
• Transcribed text is inserted directly into the app you are typing in. It is never stored, logged, or transmitted by Speak.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind is included in the app.
• No network connections are made by the app. Speak works completely offline.

Keyboard Extension & Full Access

Speak requires "Full Access" for its keyboard extension solely to access the device microphone for voice transcription. Despite having Full Access enabled, Speak:

• Does not access the internet
• Does not read or log your keystrokes
• Does not access clipboard contents
• Does not collect any usage data

Third-Party Services

Speak uses no third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools.

Data Storage

Speak stores only your app preferences (such as whether you have completed onboarding) locally on your device using standard iOS storage. No data is stored externally.
