This project will require you to create sequences of instructions to make interesting art. You may choose to use sub-procedures of common "space" objects. You should modify these sub-procedures you have been provided or even create your own sub-procedures to organize your programs. You will be working in teams, to build products faster and to practice sharing programs between projects. Sharing projects requires you to be thoughtful of where and how you build your programs.
Project Lesson Days
Introduction to Programming
Project Goals
- Use sub-procedures to achieve a desired goal
- Work collaboratively by assigning roles and communicating ideas clearly
Protocals
- Working together rules:
- Don't go into a group project thinking you're idea will be created, this only leads to disappointment. Instead be excited by not knowing what your group will come up with!
- Don't expect others in your group will tell you what to do. Instead, figure out how you can add.
- Criticize... thoughtfully!
- Do give feedback on peoples idea (this shows your listening)!
- "I like that" - "Good" - "Great" - "Lets keep building on that"
- "I'm not sure about that" - "What if..." - "I like... but ..."
-
Don't shut down ideas.
