The Role
As a Solution Engineer at Tendos, you’ll be at the intersection of technology and customers — ensuring that our AI-powered workflows deliver measurable value. You will lead implementations, optimize data-driven processes, and translate customer challenges into technical solutions.
This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone who loves solving real problems with data, automation, and a product mindset. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, working directly with our customers to ensure they achieve fast and lasting success with Tendos.
What You'll Do
- Deliver Customer Value: Ensure quick time-to-value and strong adoption of Tendos across customer teams.
- Analyze & Improve: Dive deep into data to uncover insights, track performance, and identify opportunities to improve model accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Solve Problems Hands-On: Investigate and resolve issues directly with users, working side-by-side with engineers to develop pragmatic solutions.
- Lead Implementations: Own the technical onboarding of new customers, including AI-setup, configuration and customer-specific pipeline or data optimizations.
- Operationalize Success: You make customer value, performance, and usage transparent across Tendos.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements, helping our product and engineering teams iterate faster.
What We're Looking For (Your Profile)
- Experience: 3–5 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Data Analyst, or Technical Product Manager). Note: We are open to other technical and/ or customer facing roles.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on skills in data analysis and manipulation (Python, SQL, or similar). You can comfortably work with structured and unstructured data to extract insights.
- AI Awareness: Familiarity with AI or ML-driven products — you understand their potential and limitations, and can bridge them to real-world workflows.
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy making sense of complex datasets, diagnosing issues, and translating metrics into actionable improvements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communicator in both German and English, able to simplify technical topics for diverse audiences.
