This is the new version of the script (27.10.2021) Dynamo 2.0.3 and Revit 2019
⛰️ Topography is probably the only element of the Revit system that has MESH geometry. This doesn't always suit designers, so I was interested in the question of shaping a solid element using topography. So, after much experimentation with RevitAPI, I found perhaps the best way to turn a topography into a solid and load it into a project.
The task from the start was a little crazy because for similar tasks there are Civil3D, Rhino and a number of other programs that allow solving the problem in a much more flexible way. But I was madly curious if it would work in Revit because I already had all the functions to assemble this solution. All I had to do was to put everything together. However, the task turned out to be more complicated and interesting than I thought.
