⚡ What you'll work on

For this role, you will:

• Own a large portion of the frontend stack and be responsible for working with the team to make architectural decisions to help us scale efficiently across multiple products with performance in mind.
• Solve interesting front-end product and technical challenges like improving real-time synchronization of organization data and enabling offline support across multiple clients
• Help formalise, maintain, test and improve our internal component library build with Radix UI and Stitches.
• Implement intuitive and flexible UIs that enable complex communications workflows for users across a wide range of industries. We try to not overwhelm new users with complex tools while allowing more advanced users extra flexibility e.g. how do we implement a UI with SQL style filtering that is intuitive to use from a GUI?
• Build onboarding flows that take users from sending their first message to automating repetitive tasks or activating teams of 100+ users

🎯 What we're looking for

• A strong understanding of front-end architecture. We’re not necessarily looking for someone with many years of engineering experience, we know first-hand that people with a genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn can ramp up in a new field very quickly. However, we do expect applicants to have programming experience either through, professional experience, open-source contributions or personal projects that demonstrate fundamental knowledge.
• Someone who is comfortable working async and has great written communication skills. We have the option to work in person depending on location but some portion of our team will always be distributed. This means you need to be comfortable communicating your ideas in writing. You will also need to be diligent about your boundaries because the end of your day may overlap with the start of someone else's.

Our CTO is based between Dublin, Ireland and Los Angeles, U.S.A, but we hire all over the world. We are time zone agnostic.
