What is Gearflow?
Heavy civil contractors are the backbone of America's construction industry, building our roads, bridges, and commercial buildings. It is mission critical that these jobs have the equipment they need to do their job.
However, fleet teams and operating budgets are dragged down by legacy, offline processes costing them millions in waste annually.
Gearflow transforms how fleet teams operate through an AI-powered procurement platform built for construction fleet teams to keep jobs running.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for an exceptional Full Stack Engineer who embodies a low ego approach and thrives in a collaborative startup environment.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Gearflow’s core platform, working across both frontend and backend systems to deliver exceptional user experiences.
You're in the right place if you:
- Consider yourself a self starter and entrepreneurial minded engineer that is looking for a fast paced learning environment and eager to be a part of a lean team.
- Love solving real-world problems in a space that competes most commonly with status quo and engrained habits.
- Enjoy thinking big to deliver solutions that feel impossibly valuable to customers while maintaining ambitious delivery timelines.
- Prefer to measure the business impact of every thing you build and are comfortable pushing back on the “why” behind a feature request.
- Consider yourself a full stack engineer but have a passion for solving front end problems.
- Are excited to collaborate with everyone on the team including those on the sales, marketing, and customer support sides of the business.
What you will be doing
- Interface with product from ideation to production to deliver game-changing experiences for customers. All members of the engineering team are full stack and responsible for driving solutions from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with all members of the team, from product to customer success, to get to the core of the problems needing to be solved.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the entire technology stack while also leveraging AI tools and modern development practices to increase engineering productivity and velocity
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, staging, and production environments.
