How this page works (quick guide) :
- Personas (15 min) — Pick a role (e.g., Research Librarian, Reviewer-2). It frames the model’s stance, success metrics, and constraints so replies stay relevant and testable.
- Brainstorm (optional, 8–10 min) — Diverge → cluster → rank ideas. Exit with one clear claim/question to test.
Socratic Loop (20 min)
- Elenchus — Kill vagueness fast: define key terms, list 3 testable assumptions (what evidence would satisfy each), and surface counterexamples/circularity.
- Aporia — Convert confusion into measurements: turn unknowns into indicator + feasible source; record any KNOWNs with quotes + locators.
- Dialectic — Compare 3 rival explanations, each with predictions, best evidence, and a weakness. Rank them and note what would change your mind.
- Maieutics — Produce a ≤180-word decision brief and a 5-step next action with a verification check; self-critique, then revise once.
Discussion (share & decide)
- Present your brief and next step, compare predictions, surface blockers, and log the decision.
- Always: allow NA, cite with quotes + locators, and stick to the timebox.
Socratic Loop (E→A→D→M)
Purpose. Turn a vague idea into a decision-useful, source-backed output in one timed pass.
Loop. Elenchus → Aporia → Dialectic → Maieutics.
Timer. Pick 10 min (E2–A2–D4–M2) or 25 min (E6–A6–D8–M5).
Before you start (copy/paste)
Task:[ ] Audience:[ ] Timebox:[10/25]
Goal:[ ] Constraints:[scope/data/style]
Success:[measurable outcome]
Rules: Allow NA; never fabricate; include verbatim quotes+locators for any cited fact; prefer structured outputs; add confidence {low|med|high}.
