RaceFinder is a platform that brings together running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, and duathlon events from across Portugal, all in one place. We help athletes discover and plan races while giving event organizers more visibility and better tools to grow participation. Our mission is to simplify the path to your next starting line and strengthen the sports community in Portugal.
What you'll be doing
You’ll own and grow RaceFinder’s presence across social media, working closely with marketing, partnerships, and the product team. Your focus will be on building an engaged community of athletes, influencers, organizers and federations and increasing brand awareness through consistent, authentic content.
Social Media & Community
- Manage RaceFinder’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and others as relevant)
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, simple videos)
- Interact with the community by replying to comments and messages in a timely and friendly way
- Monitor mentions, trends, and conversations within the sports community
- Support partnerships and ambassador campaigns with tailored social content
Content & Growth
- Develop a simple content calendar aligned with key races, seasons, and campaigns
- Collaborate with race organizers, federations and athletes to source and repurpose content
- Test and iterate on content formats to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth
- Track basic performance metrics and share insights with the team
- Support growth experiments (giveaways, collaborations, promos) to validate what works
What we're looking for
- A degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Sports Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong written communication skills in Portuguese and English
- Good understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
