So more than 50% of our sales team is now AI at SaaStr. But … why? One reason is really just to learn. It’s the Age of AI and it’s important SaaStr is at the cutting edge and practicing it. I do think we are geniunely ahead of 95% of folks with 4 AIs in full production handing 3 types of sales, support, content review, and community. But the #1 reason we are going ever deeper? 😰Honestly … we’re tired of arguing. We’re tired of arguing about the fact no one followed up on a key lead. We’re tired of arguing about why someone that started 2 weeks ago thinks they know better than we do after 10+ years. We’re tried of arguing about why generic outreach with zero personalization doesn’t work. We’re tried of folks saying “no one was interested” when a call or meeting actually never even happened. We’re tired of trying to get folks to put notes into Salesforce or summarize key meetings. AI is not perfect. A great human is much better than an AI. But the AI just gets the work done 24x7. And it never complains. That has value, even if the net net ROI over a human isn’t always as high as it could be.
