These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SnapGrade (“the Service”), a web-based platform that provides AI-assisted grading tools for schools, educators, and educational organizations. By using SnapGrade, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the school or institution you represent.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use SnapGrade.
You must be an authorized educator, administrator, or representative of an educational institution to use SnapGrade. Students may only access SnapGrade under the direction of a verified teacher or school account. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a school or district, you represent that you have the authority to do so.
Teachers, administrators, and school personnel may register accounts using school-issued credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use.
You agree to use SnapGrade only for educational purposes, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You may not:
SnapGrade reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.
All assignment data, submissions, rubrics, and grading outputs belong to the school or institution that provides them. SnapGrade does not claim ownership over educational content submitted to the platform.
SnapGrade is FERPA-ready and acts as a data processor on behalf of educational institutions. We do not use student data for any purpose other than to deliver grading services as directed by the institution. Upon request, schools may receive a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) outlining our obligations.
Your use of SnapGrade is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and protect data.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and secure hosting practices to protect all submitted information. SnapGrade does not sell or share personal data with third parties.
