Overview

SnapTasks is a productivity app that converts photos of task lists into digital checklists using AI. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

What data we collect

• Images you scan: When you use the scan feature, the photo is sent to Anthropic's AI service (Claude) for processing. The image is used solely to extract task text and is not stored by us.
• Task data: Your lists and tasks are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to your tasks.
• Purchase information: If you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment details.

What we do NOT collect

• No account creation or login required
• No email addresses or personal information
• No location data
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No data shared with third parties for marketing

Third-party services

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Images are sent to Anthropic's API for task extraction. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data. Visit anthropic.com/privacy for details.
• Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies.

Data storage

All task data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or databases that store your personal data. If you delete the app, all your data is removed.
