You can’t support billion-dollar companies by saying that making native apps is hard, Zed does it and is cross-platform, also Telegram does it with fluid animations.
It’s not like we didn’t have chromium apps before, but AI makes it worse because the reason why WhatsApp switched is because it’s easy to push new features with java script than C++.
