Slingshot collects a small amount of anonymous usage data to understand how the extension is being used and to improve it over time.
Anonymous installation ID When you install Slingshot, a random ID (a UUID) is generated on your device and stored locally. This ID has no connection to your name, email address, browser account, or any other identifying information. It exists only to distinguish one anonymous installation from another so that usage trends can be measured correctly.

Usage reports are sent to a private database hosted on Supabase, a third-party infrastructure provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States. Supabase's own privacy policy applies to their handling of that infrastructure.
