1. Project Overview

The Slideoo AI Add-on for Google Workspace brings the innovative capabilities of Slideoo AI directly into Google Slides and Google Docs. This add-on empowers users to leverage AI for content generation, refinement, and visual enhancement without ever leaving their familiar Google Workspace environment. Designed to streamline workflows and boost productivity, the Slideoo AI Add-on transforms how users create professional presentations and documents.

My Role: As the designer for this add-on feature, I was responsible for:

• Conducting user research to understand pain points and opportunities within Google Slides and Docs.
• Defining the core features and user flows for integrating Slideoo AI's functionalities.
• Designing intuitive UI components and interaction patterns that align with Google Workspace's design language.
• Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize the user experience.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure successful implementation and a seamless user experience.

2. The Problem

While Google Slides and Docs are powerful tools, users often face challenges such as:

• Time-consuming content creation: Manually drafting presentations and documents from scratch can be a lengthy process.
• Lack of inspiration: Struggling to find the right visuals or articulate complex ideas effectively.
• Repetitive tasks: Spending excessive time on formatting, rewriting, or searching for suitable assets.
