Session Overview

This session was a direct followup to the 2026-04-22 daily folder cleanup. The cleanup ran fine but the retrospective surfaced 8+ structural improvements that needed to happen NOW so the next agent doesn't repeat the same mistakes. Sam confirmed full sweep, including the Downloads pass that was skipped during the original cleanup, and asked that all skill writes go to BOTH the mounted Cowork canonical AND the local backup at C:\Users\SAguiar\Documents\Projects\skills-library\.

The big constraint that emerged: the mounted .skills/skills/ directory is READ-ONLY in this session (EROFS). All skill writes had to be staged for manual sync to the Cowork mount.

What Was Accomplished

1. folder-cleanup v2 (rewritten)

Written to two locations:

• C:\Users\SAguiar\Documents\Projects\skills-library\SKILL-folder-cleanup-v2.md (118 lines, canonical local backup)
• Mounted .skills mirror: BLOCKED (EROFS, needs manual sync)

Key additions over v1:

• NEVER-TOUCH list (active case docs, SAIL-Marketing-Reports, Outfront contracts, Dreamforce Materials, .claude config, skills library, credentials vault)
• Junk pattern library codified (_tmp_*, _handoff_part_*, py_err*, _pkg*, ~$*, .DS_Store, etc.)
• 3-pass workflow with REFERENCE-CHECK GATE before any move (grep filenames inside active skills and scheduled-task prompts)
• Mandatory QUARANTINE-REGISTRY.md update at end of every run
• Downloads + AppDataLocalTemp explicitly in scope
• mtime triage (12+ months untouched = flag)
• MCQ-at-end-of-task hard requirement
