Session Overview

Sam issued comprehensive sitewide rules on April 1, 2026 requiring enforcement across every page and post on aguiarinjurylawyers.com. The rules covered: single phone number per page, no forms on content pages (keep only on homepage and contact page), no sidebar forms anywhere, no stat cards unless every card has a linked source, no unsourced stats, no font sizes below 16px, hero subtexts capped at two lines, no CTA buttons in the block before the footer, centered H1s and subtexts on hero backgrounds, full-width hero blocks, and full QA before publication.

This session spans two phases of work: (1) the bulk sitewide compliance fix across all 408 non-location pages and posts, and (2) the CTA banner removal from 369 pages/posts after Sam flagged the duplicate phone button blocks just above the footer.

What Was Accomplished

Phase 1: Sitewide Compliance Fix for Non-Location Items

A comprehensive audit of all 507 published items (309 pages, 198 posts) was run via the WordPress REST API. 459 items had violations. Location pages (54 total, 51 with violations) were fixed and deployed in a prior session segment. This session handled the remaining 408 non-location items.

The sitewide_fixer.py script was built to handle all violation types programmatically:

• MULTI_PHONE (367 items): Reduced to a single phone number per page. Logic maps the correct regional number by slug: Louisville default (502) 888-8888, Lexington pages (859) 888-8000, Western KY pages (270) 517-4342, Eastern KY pages (606) 532-1372.
• GHOST_FORM (285 items): Added CSS to hide orphaned Gravity Form elements that remain in the DOM after form shortcode removal.
• STAT_NO_SOURCES (282 items): Removed stat card sections where cards lacked source citation links. Kept stat cards only when every card had an inline source link.
• FONT_SMALL (271 items): Bumped all sub-16px font sizes to 16px minimum.
• HERO_LONG_SUB (257 items): Trimmed hero subtexts to 120 characters max (two lines) with natural phrasing.
• FORM_IN_SIDEBAR (139 items): Removed forms from sidebar sections sitewide.
• FORM_ON_CONTENT_PAGE (101 items): Removed forms from content pages (not homepage or contact).
• BANNED_SECTION (51 items): Removed standalone statute of limitations and comparative fault sections.
• RGBA_TEXT (27 items): Replaced rgba() text colors with solid equivalents.
• Plus: Hero centering (H1 and subtext centered against hero backgrounds), H2/H3 centering, and CSS checkmark cleanup.

All 408 items processed in 5 batches with 1.5s delay between API calls. Results: 404 deployed with changes, 4 already compliant (skipped), 3 temporary errors (2x 503, 1x 500) all resolved on retry. Zero final errors.

Phase 2: CTA Banner Removal

Sam flagged a CTA banner section appearing at the bottom of pages just above the footer. The banner showed "Get More. Get It Faster. Get It With Sam Aguiar." with duplicate phone number buttons rendered as white boxes on the dark background. Per Sam's rule: "No CTA buttons at the bottom of the pages and posts in the block before the footer."
