An important aspect of this move is that you keep the flag flat and parallel with the ground. Your flag should not be wobbling.

  1. Starting thumbs down, move your flag clockwise while lifting up your right leg so it reaches a 90 degree angle with the rest of you. Reminder to keep your leg very straight while doing this.

At the end of 1, you want to start wrapping your flag around your leg, your left hands should be coming up to grab the flag thumbs up. This hand off should be quick, as soon as your left hands grabs the flag, let go with your right hand

  1. flag silk will be above your head and your right leg will start going down

  2. Flag silk is now pointing ‘down’ and your leg should almost fully lowered back to the ground. Your right hand will return thumbs up to the tape and you will let go with your left hand to readjust it.

  3. Flag returns to flat ready position.
